Description

Casa Serena, a 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home, is a perfect place to unwind after a day of touring the streets and sites of historical San Miguel de Allende. It is located in Historico Centro on a peaceful residential callejon (small street), within easy walking distance to main attractions including El Jardin, Benito Juarez Park, La Parroquia and the many wonderful restaurants, art galleries and shops.

Upon entering through the wooden doors off the street, there is a garden pathway leading to the iron and glass front door. Once inside the feeling is one of tranquility, charm and privacy. The ground level has an entry foyer, elegant living room, spacious dining room, kitchen and powder room as well as two patios with fountains and tables. An interior staircase leads up to three bedrooms, each with gas fireplaces and en-suite bathrooms. Another interior staircase takes you to the rooftop. There you will find beautiful sunset views, foliage with various potted fruit trees and herbs, comfortable chaise lounges, two dining tables with umbrellas and a laundry room. 


There is a house manager, a gardener and a housekeeper that keep this home clean and in order. The home also has a modern ultra violet filtration system for water purification and wi-fi throughout.

What makes the neighborhood so unique is the close proximity to the Jardin (main center square), without being near any direct busy traffic.
This one way street provides privacy and quiet.

An ideal location in town, easy walking distance to many boutiques and restaurants, with no steep hills or inclines along the cobblestone streets.

Taxis are readily available and city bus stops are very close.
Secure parking facility is located at the top of the street, a two minute walk from the house.

We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed staying at Casa Serena.
This is a lovely house. We could see the care the owners have put into the place.
We were very respectful, and treated the house as if it were our own. I hope future renters are the same.
By the way we loved the artwork and purchased a similar painting to one that we found at the Exim gallery.
We will certainly be in touch about staying again!
